MigrateFix helps site owners, developers, and agencies clean up common issues when moving a WordPress website from development or staging to production.
Current features include:
- Dry-run URL scanning before any database change.
- URL replacement in common WordPress content and metadata tables.
- Serialized PHP data handling during replacements.
- Search engine visibility check.
- HTTPS check.
- Home URL and Site URL comparison.
- Permalink configuration check.
- Capability and nonce protection for database actions.
- No post GUID replacement.
Always create a current database backup before using any search-and-replace tool.
Cài đặt
- Upload and activate MigrateFix.
- Go to Tools > MigrateFix.
- Enter the old development or staging URL and the production URL.
- Run the scan and review the results.
- Create a current database backup.
- Select Replace URLs when you are ready.

Does MigrateFix change anything during a scan?

No. Scanning is read-only.

Does MigrateFix support serialized data?

The replacement engine unserializes supported WordPress serialized values, performs recursive replacement, and serializes them again.

Does MigrateFix replace post GUIDs?

No. The plugin intentionally does not modify the posts.guid column.

Should I back up my database first?

Yes. Always create a current database backup before modifying URLs.
