AOS Quick Action Bar is a floating widget system for WordPress that lets you create one or more trigger buttons on the side or bottom of the screen. Each trigger button opens a customisable panel containing a grid of action items — links, phone numbers, forms, or any URL.
Unlike simple link bars or social button plugins, each button group in this plugin has its own expandable panel with configurable layout, background, grid columns, and item cards. All settings are reflected in a live admin preview without saving.

How it works
- Go to Settings Quick Action Bar in your WordPress dashboard
- Load a preset or add button groups from scratch
- Configure each trigger button: icon, colours, gradient, size, animation
- Set up the expandable panel: layout, background colour, grid columns, items
- Enable the plugin and save — the bar appears on your site immediately
GDPR / Privacy
The optional click tracking stores only anonymous integer counts (total clicks per button) in your site’s own database. No personal data — no IP addresses, no cookies, no browser fingerprints. A ready-to-use privacy policy text template is included in the admin panel.

Does this plugin slow down my website?

No. The plugin outputs a small inline configuration block and a single lightweight JavaScript file. No jQuery, no external CSS files, no icon fonts are loaded. Scripts are only enqueued when at least one group is active.

Is the click tracking GDPR-compliant?

Yes. The tracking feature counts anonymous totals per button — nothing else. No IP addresses, cookies, session identifiers, or fingerprints are stored or transmitted. A privacy policy text template is included in the admin panel that you can copy directly into your privacy policy page.

Can I show the bar only on specific pages?

The current version shows the bar site-wide. You can restrict visibility with CSS (e.g. body class targeting) or use your theme’s built-in visibility rules.

Does it work with any theme?

Yes. The widget is injected into
wp_footerand uses fixed positioning, so it renders correctly regardless of theme layout. -
Can I use it as a bottom bar instead of a side widget?

Yes — enable Bar Mode in the General settings to render a full-width horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen instead of the floating side widget.

Is it compatible with caching plugins?

Yes. The optional AJAX click tracking endpoint is excluded from page caches by most caching plugins automatically. Static page output contains no dynamic data.

How do I add my own icons?

The plugin ships with 30+ Feather icons. Additional icon sets are not supported in the current version.
