How to Install and Set Up the Yep AI Plugin for WordPress
Part A: Setup in WordPress Plugin (Steps 1–4)
1. Install the Plugin
- In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for “Yep AI” in the search bar.
- Click Install Now next to the Yep AI plugin.
- Once installed, click the Activate button.
2. Access Yep AI Chat
- After activation, a new menu item called “Yep AI Chat” will appear in your WordPress dashboard.
- Click on it to continue setup.
3. Account Notice
- Each WordPress site can be connected to only one Yep AI account.
4. Log In or Create an Account
- If you’re a first-time user, you will see a registration page.
- Click “Create your account”, agree to the terms and conditions, and proceed.
- If you already have an account, simply log in using your existing credentials.
Once steps 1–4 are complete, you should see a button labeled “Open YepAI Panel” in the dashboard. This confirms the chatbot has been successfully installed on your website. Visit your website’s frontend to see the AI assistant live.
Part B: Enhance Your Chatbot on the Yep AI SaaS Platform (Step 5)
5. Improve Chatbot Responses
- Click the “YepAI Panel” button to open the Yep AI SaaS platform.
- Navigate to the “Other Platforms” tab.
- Start your 7-day free trial. A credit card is required to begin the trial.
- Once you’re in the SaaS dashboard, follow the instructional video to add custom knowledge and enhance your chatbot’s responses.

Yes, you can easily upload your knowledge base to your chatbot. You can do this by either uploading links to your online knowledge base or documents. Once done, your avatar chatbot will be trained on the provided knowledge.

This will train your avatar chatbot to respond with your desired answer to your most frequent questions.Can I get the digital human to book meetings for me? 3. Can I teach the chatbot about my own website?

Yes, you can teach your chatbot about your website simply by uploading a link to your website. This will prompt the AI to download and read all of the material found on your websites. Once done, it will provide tailored responses to any questions about your products or services found on your website.

Yes, our chatbot can be embedded onto any website with a snippet of code. This includes Webflow, WordPress, Wix, and all other website builders. Simply copy the embeddable code into the header of your website to implement our avatar chatbot.

The chatbot integrates a blend of specific knowledge uploaded by the user, plus ChatGPT (or other LLMs) to understand and respond to user queries. It uses natural language processing to provide dynamic and contextually relevant interactions. If a user asks a question, it will first search your uploaded knowledge for a matching response or answer, and if it can’t find any, it will respond with a ChatGPT-generated response. This ensures that the digital human responds in the most human-like behavior, enhancing customer service and personalization.
