Modern Dental Clinic Companion is a lightweight companion plugin for the Modern Dental Clinic WordPress theme.
It moves all custom front page section settings into a separate plugin, following WordPress.org theme review guidelines.
The plugin adds Customizer controls for:
- Hero section (slides, button text/URLs, autoplay)
- Features section
- Services section
- Team section
- Testimonials section
- Pricing section
- Clinic hours and Google Maps location
- Simple visibility toggles for each homepage section
This plugin does not output any content on its own. It is designed specifically for the Modern Dental Clinic theme,
which reads these settings and renders the sections on the front page.
If the Modern Dental Clinic theme (or a child theme of it) is not active, the plugin quietly disables its features
and does nothing.
Cài đặt
- Upload the
modern-dental-clinic-companionfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install it from the WordPress.org plugin repository. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Make sure the Modern Dental Clinic theme (or a child theme of it) is active.
- Go to Appearance Customize Dental Theme Settings to configure:
- Hero
- Features
- Services
- Team
- Testimonials
- Pricing
- Hours & Location
- Homepage visibility toggles

Does this plugin work without the Modern Dental Clinic theme?

No. This plugin is built specifically for the Modern Dental Clinic theme and its front-page layouts.
If the theme (or a child theme of it) is not active, the plugin does nothing and does not output any content. -
Will my settings be lost if I switch themes?

Your Customizer settings are stored in the database, but other themes will not use these specific options.
If you later switch back to Modern Dental Clinic, the saved settings will still be there. -
Does this plugin create any custom post types or shortcodes?

No. It only registers Customizer settings and enqueues helper scripts/styles for the Modern Dental Clinic front page sections.
