Mô tả
Contact Buttons by WebAdis adds a floating contact button to your WordPress site so visitors can reach you in one tap. Show a single button, or one expandable menu with several channels such as phone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Telegram and Messenger.
The contact button loads only on pages where it is allowed to appear, works with page-caching plugins, and never sends any data to an external server. It fits any theme or page builder, including Elementor, Astra, Divi, GeneratePress and WooCommerce stores.
Chat and Messaging Channels
Add a chat button for messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Viber or Signal that opens a conversation with you on desktop and mobile. For WhatsApp you can set an optional pre-filled message, such as the page name or a greeting.
Call Button & SMS Button
Add a click-to-call button that dials your phone number on mobile devices, and an SMS button with a pre-filled text. Combine several channels in a single floating menu so visitors pick the one they prefer.
20+ Contact Channels
WhatsApp, Phone Call, SMS, Email, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube, Skype, Discord, Slack, Line, Viber, Signal, WeChat, Custom URL and Custom Button.
Display Modes
- Single button – one direct contact button (for example a call button only).
- Multi button – one trigger button that expands into a menu of contact buttons.
Full Appearance Control
Position (six corners and sides), shape (circle, rounded, square), size, colors, spacing, animation, opacity, a call-to-action bubble (“Need help?”), per-channel labels and a live preview with a desktop/mobile toggle.
Display Rules
Show the contact button on the whole site or only on selected pages: by page type, specific URL paths (with wildcards), login state, user role, device (desktop, tablet, mobile) and schedule (days and hours). Device and schedule rules run in the browser so they stay correct with page caching.
Click Tracking
Optionally send contact button clicks to Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or a generic dataLayer, using the analytics tools already on your site. All tracking is off by default and must be enabled by the site owner. No data is sent to WebAdis.
Lightweight, Accessible and Secure
- Small CSS and JavaScript, loaded only where the button appears. No jQuery.
- Keyboard support, focus styles, ARIA roles, screen-reader labels, reduced-motion and high-contrast support.
- Every output is escaped; all settings are validated on save.
- Import and export settings as JSON; one-click reset to defaults.
- Translation ready.
Privacy
This plugin does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Click tracking is off by default; if a site owner enables it, events are dispatched only to analytics libraries (gtag, dataLayer, fbq) already installed on the site.

Privacy Policy
Contact Buttons by WebAdis does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to WebAdis or any third party.
The plugin does not set cookies, make external HTTP requests, or log visitor information. Click tracking is off by default. If the site owner enables it, click-tracking events (for Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel) are dispatched entirely within the visitor’s browser using analytics libraries you have already installed and configured on your site. No data is sent to WebAdis as part of this process.

Hỏi đáp
-
Install and activate the plugin, open Contact Buttons Buttons, add a channel (for example Phone Call) and enter your details. Save, and the button appears on your site.
-
Can I show several channels together?
-
Yes. Add as many channels as you like, for example Phone Call, Email and WhatsApp. In multi-button mode they appear in one expandable menu; in single mode the first enabled channel becomes the only button.
-
Yes. On mobile they open the installed app; on desktop they open the service’s web or desktop app where one is available.
-
Which number format should I use for phone-based channels?
-
Enter the full international number using digits only, including the country code — for example
15551234567. Do not add a “+”, spaces or dashes. -
Does it work with Elementor, Astra, Divi and WooCommerce?
-
Yes. The contact button is independent of your theme or page builder and includes its own styles, so it looks the same everywhere. WooCommerce shop and product pages can be targeted in the display rules.
-
Does the widget work with caching plugins?
-
Yes. Page-level rules (page type, URL, login state, role) are evaluated on the server, while visitor-level rules (device type and schedule) run in the browser. This means the widget behaves correctly even when pages are served from cache.
Note: if your full-page cache serves identical HTML to logged-in and logged-out visitors, login-state and role rules may not apply correctly on cached pages.
-
No. The CSS and JavaScript files are small and load only on pages where the button is allowed to display. There is no jQuery dependency and no external network request.
-
Is the plugin GDPR friendly? Does it send data to WebAdis?
-
The plugin sets no cookies, stores no visitor data and makes no external requests of its own. Click tracking is off by default. If you enable it, events are sent only to the analytics tools already running on your site (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), which are governed by your existing consent setup.
-
Yes. You can target by page type, specific URL paths (with
*wildcards), login state, user role, device type and schedule. A single widget configuration is supported in this version. -
Is the plugin translation ready?
-
Yes. All user-facing strings, including the settings screen, are wrapped in WordPress translation functions with the text domain
contact-buttons-by-webadis.

1.0.4

- Changed: Plugin renamed to “Contact Buttons by WebAdis” and readme updated.
- Changed: Plugin URI now points to the product page.
1.0.3
- Fix: URL include/exclude rules now work when WordPress is installed in a subdirectory (rules are relative to the site home URL).
- Fix: Phone, SMS, email and other app links no longer open a blank browser tab; only web links open in a new tab.
- Fix: Signal and similar handles keep a literal “+” instead of “%2B”.
- Fix: Hidden menu buttons are no longer reachable with the Tab key while the menu is closed.
- Fix: An unknown trigger icon id falls back to the default icon instead of an empty trigger.
- Improvement: The settings screen is fully translatable (all labels now go through wp.i18n) and warns before leaving with unsaved changes.
- Improvement: Border width/colour and the enable switch are now editable in the settings screen; URL patterns may include a query string.
- Improvement: Templates and icons are printed through WordPress escaping functions with no code-standards exceptions.
- Removed the unused “greeting” and “show_tooltip” settings and the rewrite-rule flush on activation.
1.0.2
- Fix: The Square and Rounded shapes now apply to buttons with labels, not only the round trigger button.
- Fix: Theme and page-builder styles (such as Astra or Elementor) no longer change button colours on hover, focus or click.
- Fix: Buttons and the call-to-action bubble no longer inherit the theme button typography (uppercase text, letter spacing, font size).
1.0.1
- Fix: Skype, Viber and WeChat buttons no longer render with an empty link.
- Fix: A channel whose value is invalid (e.g. a malformed email or a phone number with no digits) is skipped instead of rendering a broken button.
- Fix: “Square” and “Rounded” shapes now use pixel corner radii on the site, matching the live preview.
- Fix: The live preview trigger button no longer looks blank while the menu is open; it shows the close icon, as on the site.
- Security: Email addresses in button links are HTML-entity encoded to deter address harvesters.
- Security: The wacb_required_capability filter falls back to manage_options when it returns an invalid value.
- Improvement: Import checks that the file is a Contact Buttons settings export before loading it.
- Improvement: Uninstall removes settings from every site on multisite networks with more than 100 sites.
- Improvement: The open/close menu labels are now translatable, and exports record the real plugin version.
- Removed unused server-side import/export classes (import and export run in the settings screen).
